Corner Mill& Spring Streets The fountain and surrounding garden were given to Trinity Church and the people of Newport by RobertO R Goelet in memory of his parents and wife. The spite of the church rises in the background. Designed Christopher Wren, bY N and built in 1726, this/ is the most beautiful Anglican Church erected in America during the Colonial period. Open to visitors. (No admission charge).
