Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico Temple of the Sun, Big Room
The Temple of the Sun is a beautiful stalagmite located in the Big Room of the Carlsbad Caverns, 750 feet underground and although not the largest stalagmite in the Caverns, is greatly admired, be- cause the trail travels close beside it.
