KOOTENAY NATIONAL PARK, BRITISH COLUMBIA. Kootenay one of Canada's 19 National Parks, which form a chain of nature sanctuaries from coast to coast. It is a region of 543 square miles and is situated on the western slopes of the Rockies in southeastern B.C. Marble Canyon, a famous Kootenay landmark, IS situated 53 miles east of Radium Hot Springs on Highway 93.
