Painted in the original Tuscan Red and Russet livery, it is made up of'1927 type'steel stock and earlier wooden stock. The first two cars of this set were constructed at Walsh Island Government Dockyard, New- castle. Various contracts were let, totalling nearly 300 cars, between November 1927 and July 1929.
