Clarinda Iowa
This card shows M. E. Ferris of Clarinda, Iowa, who when he was 21 years
of age met with the misfortune of losing both hands by coming in contact with
electric wires carrying 2,200 wolts.
Mr. Ferris has since that time accomplished many difficult feats, such as feeding,
dressing and undressing himsell, writing, etc., but two of his most wonderful feats
are playing the piano or organ and operating driving and controlling his especially equipped Ford Runabout.
