The darker haired man is probably named Duff Smith - I have a couple other cards listed that provide me with that info.
I have listed another photo of these young men with two young women and someone wrote in pencil in the right margin"Duff& Jessie"
AND I have another card listed called A Rancher and his Herd that is signed"Duff& Jessie"and addressed to his mother and that card is postmarked Helena Montana and the mother was also in Montana.
So put all these cards together and you begin to get a big picture.
