53 Fremont Place is known asThe Shultz /Rhinock / Croft House -- this house has been a set location in many movies.
And the automobile motor car with the gentleman owner - A Lincoln? -- the man is maybe James Shultz, the original owner / builder of the house -- ormaybeFrederick William Matthiessen,Jr.,the second resident of house. Matthiessen owned a 1500 acre horse farm called Kentucky Park in Triunfo, California
Our best guess is this is Matthiessen as photos of him are on the internet and he looked quite a bit like this guy in this photo.
