MBTA 3415 The first official train of LRV's returning to Riverside after taking Gov. Dukakis and invited guests into Boston. These LRV (Light Rail Vehicles) are the first U.S. built trolleys since 1952. Boeing-Vertol Co. is building 175 LRV's for the MBTA. These new cars are climate-controlled, have a two way radio, public address system and can travel at a speed of 55mph. No. 3415 is passing Eliot Station in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts.
