Whale Boat HISTORICAL AND WHALING MUSEUM SAG HARBOR, LONG ISLAND, N. Y. (Old whaling port) The Whale Boat pictured stands in front of the Whaling Museum at Sag Harbor, Long Island. It is believed to have come from the Whale Ship Concordia, a bark of 265 tons which first sailed out of the Port of Sag Harbor May 20, 1837 for the South Atlantic. Small boats like this were put out from the ship to pursue the whale when the cry came"thar she blows". POST CARD THE FINEST AN ERICAN MADE VIEW POST CARDS-THE ALBERTYPE CO.. BROOKLYN, N. Y
