The Hamburg of this band is probably New Jersey or Minnesota or Virginia

I found mention of the Hamburg, Iowa; Hamburg, NY; and Hamburg, PA, bands in Gavin Holman’sBrass Bands& Cornet Bands of the U.S.A. : A Historical Directory(you will find this directory if you search online)— but Iowa, New York, and Pennsylvania Hamburg Cornet bands were already active by the 1870s. 

Since this group photographed here was organized 1888, I’m guessing it’s Hamburg in Minnesota, New Jersey, or Virginia, all three of which are also in the directory as active by the 1890s or 1900s.
