I believe the name written on this card is misspelled.
I found a Niemi family with a son William who was born in 1904 --with a notable father August V. Niemi.
The web site Alaskahistory dot org has a detailed page about Niemi, August V. (William’s father) and the family.
The family moved to the Juneau area in 1910
and from there to Eska, Alaska, in 1915.
The family sent the older children including William to high school in Anchorage.
This card’s stamp box design indicates it could have been taken in the 1920s when William would be around age 18-25 - when he perhaps back in the Juneau area after school.
