Montana began issuing state license plates in 1914 with MONT on the plate.
Prior to 1914 there were private plates. I’m not sure if I’m seeing this correctly but I think it’s MON.
Might possibly be MICH. But the landscape and buildings looks more like Montana 1915 to me than Michigan.
